Dr Cameron Dyson

- Graduated Melbourne University 1987
- Graduate Certificate in Ocular Therapeutics 2002
Memberships include Optometrists Association Australia, Victorian College of Optometry, Cornea & Contact Lens Society of Australia, and The Australasian College of Behavioural Optometrists.
Cameron began optometry services in Bairnsdale in 1992, at East Gippsland Optical, before joining with Kenneth Long and forming Dyson & Long Optometrists in 1997. Currently a director and consulting optometrist at Dyson & Long, his professional interests include technological advances in eye disease management, custom optical lens design, and rural optometry services.
Away from optometry, Cameron’s interests include paragliding, cycling, snowboarding and camping.
Dr Philipa Munday

- Graduated Melbourne University 2008 – Therapeutic Prescriber endorsed
Philipa joined Dyson and Long in 2009 as a graduate optometrist. An East Gippsland local, she has quickly earned a loyal patient base, and is currently a full time optometrist in the practice.
Since 2013, Philipa has also become a joint partner in the practice.
Philipa’s professional interests include children’s vision and eye disease management, and she has also worked in Nepal Eye Hospital with the Fred Hollows Foundation, as well as working in remote outreach clinics providing eyecare and cataract screenings.
Away from optometry Philipa’s interests include netball and horse riding.
Dr Wendy Dawson

- Graduated from Melbourne University in 2017 as a Doctor of Optometry.
Wendy, originally from East Gippsland, commenced work with Dyson & Long in 2018, where she is now a busy member of our optometry team, consulting at both our Bairnsdale practice and our East Gippsland Optical practice in Lakes Entrance.
Dr Jade Lindsay

- Graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2016 as a Doctor of Optometry.
Jade commenced private practice with and independent optometry clinic in Dubbo, before moving to Bairnsdale and joining Dyson & Long in 2019.
Timothy Warr

- Graduated Optical Dispensing RMIT 2006
Joining the practice in 2004 as an apprentice optical dispenser, Tim subsequently received his qualifications as an optical dispenser, and is now lab manager and full time dispenser in the on-site dispensing laboratory.
Since 2013 Tim has become a joint partner in the practice.
Away from work, Tim is a keen cyclist, and unfortunately follows Collingwood Football Club.
